Vanessa D Jonsson, PI

Assistant Professor jointly in Applied Mathematics and Biomolecular Engineering and faculty at the Genomics Institute at UCSC. The Jonsson lab aims to understand how the immune system evolves in the context of human disease: to do this, we develop mathematical models and build computational methods for the analysis of high throughput genomic and immunological data. Caltech, PhD, co-advised by Richard Murray (Engineering) and David Baltimore (Biology). Previously, developed software for robotic missions at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
